At Finchley Catholic High School, our vibrant and active Parent Teacher Association is also known as the 'Friends of Finchley Catholic.'
With a rich history spanning many years, this association has woven itself seamlessly into the fabric of our school community, becoming an indispensable part of our school's life.
Friends of Finchley Catholic is more than just a name; it represents a dedicated team that orchestrates a multitude of annual social gatherings. These include events such as the Summer and Christmas Fayres, a spirited Summer Golf Day, as well as an array of engaging fundraising quizzes, lively discos, and other exciting activities that bring our community together.
However, the Friends of Finchley Catholic's impact extends far beyond fun-filled gatherings. Their commitment to our school's growth and development is evident in the substantial financial contributions they have made over the years. Through their hard work and dedication, they have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds, which have been instrumental in enhancing our school's facilities. Notable achievements include the construction of the Canon Parsons Sixth Form Centre which opened in 2014 and the restoration of the playing fields at Southover.
We invite all members of our cherished school community, both staff and parents alike, to actively engage with the Friends of Finchley Catholic. Whether by volunteering your time and skills or simply by attending and supporting the events they organise, your participation is invaluable. Together, we can continue to build a stronger, more vibrant school community that embodies our shared ethos:
"Where Everybody Matters"
