Vision and Values

Our Vision in English is for students to understand the power of language and be empowered to question and engage with a variety of viewpoints.

They will become more empathic and tolerant through encountering a range of diverse literary texts that allow students to think beyond their own time, place and space. Students will be challenged to think objectively and reflect on how to connect their literary experience into everyday context. They will develop the critical awareness to serve them in their academic, professional and personal lives beyond their time at Finchley Catholic High School.
