Our school is a very highly regarded, heavily oversubscribed and vibrant all boys’ comprehensive school with a mixed 6th form. It has a strong community ethos and a record of excellent examination results, well above national averages.

The governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and talented individual to lead an enthusiastic group of teachers in achieving outstanding pupil outcomes and to further develop teaching pedagogy within the department.

The successful candidate will join an extremely successful department, which is very well regarded by students and parents. It has consistently achieved strong results over the years, securing extremely strong attainment and progress scores.

We require:

  • an enthusiastic and passionate Science teacher able to teach across the key stages
  • a candidate who can provide high quality leadership across a team, working collaboratively in delivering an outstanding curriculum for our pupils
  •  a clear vision of how the department can develop further
  • a commitment to high quality, creative teaching and learning, supported by excellent planning and assessment
